UNC UNF HEX NUT ZINC

Vibration Resistance: Fine threads have a shallower angle and more threads per inch, making them much less likely to vibrate loose.

Why Zinc Plating?
Regardless of the thread type, the zinc coating is applied for specific practical reasons:

Indoor Use: While it can handle mild moisture, it is primarily intended for indoor or dry environments. For constant outdoor or coastal exposure, stainless steel or hot-dip galvanised nuts from Bunnings Warehouse are better options.
