A 230mm diamond cutting disc is a heavy-duty industrial tool accessory designed for grinding and cutting through extremely hard materials. It is essentially a steel circular plate with industrial-grade diamonds embedded into its outer edge. 
How It Works
Unlike standard saw blades with teeth, diamond discs do not "cut" material; they grind it. The exposed diamond particles on the disc's rim wear down the material at a molecular level as the disc spins at high speeds—typically up to 6,600 RPM. 
What It Cuts
These discs are primarily used for masonry and construction materials, including:
Common Masonry: Hard concrete, reinforced concrete (with steel rebar), brick, stone, and blocks.
Natural Stone: Granite, marble, and limestone.
Other Surfaces: Asphalt, roof tiles, clay pipes, and terracotta.
Specialty Use: Some advanced blades can cut through metal, steel, and aluminum.
